The women at StoneWater Church are coming together again this year to serve the line on Distribution Day for Christmas for Children and we couldn't be more excited!!! Here are the ways to serve:
Vision: Our goal for the Christmas for Children Distribution Day is to create an environment for these families to come and collect their gifts and feel loved, leave knowing God loves them and so does StoneWater! We plan to hand out snacks, drinks and give a little gift bag to every woman in line (with chocolates and a small gift).
Some of the things we will be doing leading up Distribution Day:
1. We will have a gift bag assembly day at the church office (3701 Acton Hwy) on Monday, Dec 12, 10am – noon.
2. We are also collecting baked/bought goodies to serve the people in line (Christmas Cookies, dessert, finger foods etc.). You can bring these items when you come that day to serve OR anyone can drop off goodies at Texana on Tues, Dec 13.
ON DISTRIBUTION DAY (Weds, Dec 14) We will be:
1. Serving the people in line (by giving out cookies and drinks and the gift bag to the women)
2. Help load vehicles and carrying gifts to the car
Sign up for one of the following shifts
We have 4 shifts available to chose from on the Distribution Day:
Shift 1: 7:30am-10:30am
Shift 1: 7:30am-10:30am
Shift 2: 10:30am-1:30pm
Shift 3: 1:30pm-4:30pm
Shift 4: 4:30pm-7:30pm
*We will be selling volunteer t-shirts (to be worn on Dec. 14 or just wear red) and will have shift sign ups at the Women’s Ignite Worship on Thursday, Dec 8 and on Sunday morning, Dec 11. Ignite Worship starts at 6pm at Texana. We will have a time of worship and a time where we share even more about how we will be serving the line on Distribution Day.
